The Prayer Ministry is multi-faceted where every person can find a place for themselves to pray. Our goal is for people to realize the importance of prayer in their lives and in the life of the church. And that it is prayer that under girds everything else we do in our personal lives and in the life of the church. Therefore, we expect our church to fulfill the words of Jesus when He said, “My house shall be called a house of prayer.” (Mark 11:17 & Matthew 21:13)

And to that end it is our vision for people to grasp the idea that corporate prayer is one of the keys to everything from growth, to unity, to salvation for lost family members. We expect each person in the church to participate in one or more of the available prayer events we now have and those we plan to introduce in the future.
Some of the prayer events we currently have are:
Intercessory Prayer

This prayer group prays for the needs of others and uplifts our Senior Pastor, our other pastors, their families and our church.
Pastor’s Prayer Partners
Captain, Jim Flikkema
The Partners pray for our pastor on a daily basis; have one Sunday where they come early to the Prayer Room to pray over the pastor before the service; and, one day per month where they spend one hour in prayer for our pastor. Prayer Chain
Captain, Karen Watson
This prayer chain encompasses both phone calling and e-mailing to those who will pray for others in crisis situations.
“Watch of the Lord”

This prayer event is called at special times from Friday evening through Saturday morning until 6 am. This eight hours of prayer is where we “soak in the Lord.” There are times of praise, worship, prayer and resting in the Lord. Please watch the calendar for this special called prayer event.
Sunday Service Prayer Partners

These prayer teams pray in the Prayer Room during the Sunday morning services. They pray for our pastor, the worship team, the congregation and the service in progress.
