Children's Pastor
I was born and raised in Arkansas and grew up attending First Assembly of God in Bearden, Arkansas. I was born again as a little girl and have lived for God all my life. Since childhood I knew God had called me into the ministry. I knew I'd marry a preacher and fill the role of Pastor's wife - to be his helper, to walk along side him. Randy and I have been married since October 1972 and have been in full time ministry since then. It's been wonderful - I've loved it! My husband became the Pastor of Oak Hill Christian Center in December 1987. I've served along side him in many areas including Sunday School teacher, church secretary, Parent's Choice Child Care director, Women's Ministries, evangelism, pianist/organist, choir director...... But then in 1996 while attending a Pastor's Conference in Brownsville, Florida, God did a new thing in me. He called me to be and do more than I was doing. He called me to preach the Gospel! I became the Children's Pastor of Oak Hill Christian Center in March 1998, and what a joy it has been. God has given me such a love and passion for the children. My desire is to lead them to Christ, to teach and train them to live for Him. But my number one goal is to live for Christ - to know Him and be more like Him each day. Randy and I have three children: Jennifer, Justin and Jeffrey. We have two grandkids and many "adopted" kids and grandkids. |
