Assistant Pastor 
After being born in Potras, Greece in August, 1949, I was adopted by an American family and moved to San Diego, California in 1957. Being raised Catholic, and having a hunger for God, I thought I was called to be a nun, since I thought that was the only way I could love and serve God. But then I met my high school sweetheart, my husband to-be, Dana Covert and the thought of being a nun went out the door. The hunger to serve and love God with everything in me was still there. One glorious day in 1977, a friend explained to me that I could invite Jesus Christ to me my Lord and Savior, and I did.
In 1981, Dana and I wanted to move out of San Diego into a more family friendly culture and God led us to Evansville. The first week we were in Evansville, we attended Oak Hill Christian Center, previously named Souls Harbor. We have been here ever since. I have been honored to serve as a Sunday School Teacher, Kay Arthur Bible Study Leader, bookkeeper, secretary and now Pastor of Life Groups.
My desire is to have every person meet Jesus Christ as their Savior, to see them set free from their past sins, hurts and addictions, and for all of us to have a life changing intimacy with Jesus Christ through the study of His Word.
Dana and I have five wonderful grown children, Christy, Michele, Brian, Jason and Mary. We have two precious grandchildren and many “adopted” children and grandchildren.
